This policy covers the Let It Brew website and the official Let It Brew macOS app. Let It Brew is maintained by Ruban as a free, open-source project.
Website data
The website does not provide accounts, forms, newsletters, or paid services, and it does not ask you for your name or email address. Vercel hosts the website and processes ordinary request information needed to deliver and secure it, such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, and browser or device information.
Vercel Web Analytics records aggregate page views. A data point may include the page or route visited, timestamp, referrer, filtered query parameters, approximate city or country, browser, operating system, and device type. Let It Brew does not send custom analytics events.
Vercel states that Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not attach page views to a named person or IP address, and discards its request-derived visitor identifier after 24 hours.
How website data is used
Aggregate analytics are used to understand site traffic, improve content, and diagnose operational problems. Let It Brew does not sell or trade visitor information. Website request and analytics data are processed by Vercel under its own service and retention practices.
macOS app data
The macOS app has no account, cloud service, or telemetry. Session records and preferences stay on your Mac. Let It Brew does not upload prompts, responses, project contents, or session records.
The app contacts GitHub for release metadata during update checks. Those requests include the app version but not agent names, project paths, prompts, code, repository contents, or session records. The detailed app privacy document explains local records, configuration files, updates, and removal.
Third-party destinations
Downloads, source code, issues, and sponsorship links lead to services such as GitHub and Buy Me a Coffee. Their privacy practices apply once you leave this website.
Questions and privacy requests
You can contact the maintainer through the project's private GitHub reporting form. Please include only the information needed to explain your request. If an applicable privacy law gives you access, correction, objection, or complaint rights, your request will be handled under that law.
